Design Features

The base is special, using the main components of the T-64 tank. The overall layout is original, with the placement of the crew in the turret.

Armament is a closed rifled barrel launcher in slicks; a semi-automatic charging mechanism with remote control from the operator’s workplace.

Protection – the body is welded, with large slopes and curvilinear configuration of thick-bronze sheets; the anti-radiation outfit is installed; turret cast, spherical flattened shape.

Chassis – engine two-stroke five-cylinder; a two-shaft liquid-cooled diesel engine, opposite with a horizontal arrangement of cylinders and a supercharger with a mechanical and gas-turbine drive; transmission hydromechanical; the suspension is hydropneumatic, with variable ground clearance.
