Information for foreign visitors: tourists and the foreign company staff FAQ's (Frequency Asked Questions) about the visit to Museum
- You have to send us your ID (see below) in 3-4 weeks in advance. We DO NOT accept the request early that 3-4 weeks except VIP and the special categories and not LATE that 10 work days before the visit. We recommend you TO INFORM us in advance about your visit to discuss some questions. The helpful information about yourself is: - the range when you can visit museum, the best days for you. Ex.: "April 10, 11, 14" - the Hotel were do you stay in Russia. Ex.: "Hotel Izmailovo" - your special interest. Ex.: "German WWII tanks, Soviet Cold War armored vehicles". I am militaria collector and re-enactor" - your knowledge of the historical vehicles. Ex.: "I have the strong knowledge of the Japan tanks and the history of Soviet- Japan War 1945. I have also the technical (historical) background"
- Additional information about yourself is the list of the military (non-military) museums and sights you'd like to visit. Ex.: "Tank museum in Kubinka, Army museum and T-34 museum and the book stores where I can buy the Russian photos with the German tanks"
- The officer, your visit curator, could translate you into English (small tips 5-10 $, the drink etc. are welcome). Any other languages as JAPANESE, GERMAN, FRENCH, SPANISH etc. as request in advance for the additional fee (since 50Eu till 150Eu)
- Your curator can meet you at: a) Entrance of the museum (you use the taxi from Moscow) b) The Center of the Moscow Metro station hall, underground (you use the public transportation) c) The Entrance of the Hotel (you have not the experience how to use the Moscow metro)
- The total charges do depend of the kind of your trip: the budget, regular and VIP (transportation, additional facilities etc.) The budget travel: the public transportation: 120Eu including the making of the permission and the curator providing, entrance, 2 hour lection about tanks, non-professional filming + 10 -15 Eu the public transportation (local train + local taxi)
Usually, you have to make the small pre-payment - 30Eu to start the permission making in 3-4 weeks. In case if you cancel your visit, you lose 30Eu. You can DO NOT make the pre-payment IF YOU GUARANTEE no canceling your visit. All fee you have to pay in Rubles (only) in Museum during your visit. In Kubinka the military area no exchange, no card machines (do all in Moscow in advance)
-You can visit museum with your Russian friends, but you have send us your Russian friend passport ID (name and passport NN). For all Russian citizens the entrance fee is 100 Rubles. Your charges will be + 100 Rubles each Russian visitors What is the recommended time for my excursion? How long is the way and the excursion? - We strongly recommend you to start at 11.00. Also, 10.00 , 12.00 or 14.00 (not recommended) are available. The way from (to) Moscow to Museum takes: by car 1 hour, by the public transportation 1,5 hours The usual schedule: you leave Hotel at 9.00, start the excursion 11.00, 13.00 - the end of the excursion (usually all visitors do prefer the extra-time till 16.00 ) and you are back in hotel 18.00 -19.00

- No, for all your staff, the Russian citizens you do not need the special permission, but we need the Russian passport ID in advance and the permission for you
Yes, you can visit the museum later. The permission is actual during 1 month. You have to inform your curator about your late and to discuss the new date in 1-2 days in advance. We recommend you to inform us about your trip ITINERARY and ALL DATES you can visit museum
