Design features

Base – BTR-80.

The general layout is similar to the BTR-80 with the placement of repair and evacuation equipment on the turret and in the landing compartment.

Armament – the machine gun is located in a closed autonomous installation.

Special equipment – 4.2 ton traction winch (with 16.8 ton chain hoist); boom crane with a lifting capacity of 1.2 tons; electric welding equipment: rigid towing device; loading platform 500 kg; fixture and special keys for repair, as well as technical equipment of the armored personnel carrier.

Protection – at the level of BTR-80.

Chassis – BTR-80.
