Tank rides. Exhibitions and test driving.

There are several ways how to see the tanks in the action.

1) Annual military exhibitions.

You can see the tanks in the action at the special military exhibitions. Unfortunately, the traditional place for the demonstration is Omsk or Nizhniy Tagil (Siberia), however, the restricted area. Additional problem is that the exhibitions are for the specialists only as the personal request of Russian Officials. We can try to help you with the permission, but we need your request, passport ID and the quick summery about yourself and the reason to visit that exhibition in few months in advance. Sometime (usually 1 time for 3-4 years the participants are the WWII Soviet tanks such as T34, IS-3)

2) Tank museum gun show on the special events. Army day, Victory Day, D-day, Tank crew Day , Battle for Moscow. Check shows section.  Unfortunately, after Feb 2006 HQ temporary prohibited any tanks in action. Do not ask "Why". There are the problems.

3) Your own tank ride. There are many "proposals" for the tank ride. It was true before 2006 Feb. Many "travel agencies" offer you, because do not know the latest information. At this moment all tank rides are prohibited except the SPECIAL PERMISSION of HQ . You could send us the request for the tank ride, but the answer will be 95% -"No"

But... We have the second military base with WWII and Korean War: T34, IS-3, SU 100, Cold War (Afghan etc. ) - T-55, BMP1 etc. Anyway, if you have the interest for the tank ride, let us know and we will try to help you. The recommended request should be made in 2-3 weeks in advance. The urgent permission we can make in 1-2 days, during your visit in Russia.
