During the four years of the Great Patriotic War, voluntary contributions of Soviet people to the Red Army aid fund amounted to more than 100 billion rubles. Over 250 registered tanks and tank columns were purchased and sent to the front for these funds. One of these exhibits is located in the outdoor exhibition. Kubinka tank museum HQ. Monument to Soviet tank crews died in the World War Two, the Chapel.

In the open part of the Tank Museum area is a memorial complex dedicated to the Great Patriotic War, a chapel and a mass grave of dead soldiers – tank crew tomb.

Periodically held in the chapel of remembrance of soldiers who died defending the fatherland.

Memorial had a original T-70 light tank turret found on the WW2 battlefields with the crew buried here in the grave.

Foreign tourists visit the memorial to those killed tank crew, to honor their memory …

On public holidays there is a honor guard of the Ministry of Defense. Laying wreaths and flowers. Meeting of the veterans of the armed forces. Orthodox Church service.
